GREETINGS FROM BOSTON UNIVERSITY IMP / IMBA
When you attended the program, it may have been known as the International Management Program (IMP). In 2009, we changed the name to the International MBA (IMBA) when we ceased to offer the summer-only certificate portion of the program. Additionally, the program has moved from Kobe, Japan to Beijing and Shanghai, China.
My name is Amanda Miller. I attended IMP in Kobe, Japan in 1999 (you may have known me as Amanda Silva) and I have been managing the the IMP / IMBA Program since 2002 . I realize this may be the first time you have heard from the program since you graduated but I hope that it will not be the last.
This year is the 25th anniversary of the program, and we thought what better excuse to celebrate the program and reconnect with our alumni. We are planning a series of activities in China over the summer as well as events in Boston during the Fall and Spring of 2012-2013.
We will be sending you more information on the activities shortly but first, we need to get our contact information on all of you as up-to-date as possible. If you have moved or changed your home, work or email address recently, please email me at email@example.com with your most up-to-date or preferred contact information.
Additionally, if you are in contact with other members of your cohort, please send them this link. This is also a time to reconnect with other alumni through the following closed groups. Please join us in our private groups: and and get our new Alumni App for iPhone and Android.
The Alumni App is a great way to keep in touch with the IMBA/IMP Program as well as catch up with classmates and network across cohort years. With over 900 IMBA/IMP alums worldwide, the Alumni App helps you find colleagues and friends wherever you are.
We hope to see as many of you as possible over the course of the year-long celebration for our anniversary as well as help you to reconnect with classmates and former faculty and to meet new alumni and current students. I look forward to hearing from you all!
